Other Germans and their families want to leave Israel with Iran because of the war. Now a second special machine from the neighboring country of Jordan is on the go to Germany.
The Federal Foreign Office has flown out a second group of German and narrow family members who were in Israel in Israel with a special flight from Jordan. The machine was expected in Berlin in the early evening. There were 174 passengers on board, it said from the Federal Foreign Office. Including the first special flight on Wednesday to Frankfurt, 345 people could have left the region.
Another flight from the Jordanian capital Amman was planned for the weekend, it continued. Germans who want to leave Israel have to go to the neighboring country of Jordan independently. Other European countries organized convoys to Jordan for their composers. The Federal Foreign Office announced again that this is currently not considered an option for security reasons, since waiting times at collecting points would result in additional risks.
Riding from Iran via Armenia, Türkiye or Azerbaijan recommended
Germans in Iran continue to advise the Federal Foreign Office to travel through land to the neighboring countries of Armenia and Türkiye. The border crossings there are open. In individual cases, an exit across the border to Azerbaijan is also possible. From all three countries you can continue to travel to Germany with commercial flights. “Our messages on site support them and can be reached around the clock,” it said.
The Federal Foreign Office calls Germans to register on their crisis list of Elefand. There are currently over 4,000 Germans registered there who indicate that they are in Israel. In Iran, this number amounts to more than 1,000 registrations.
