Are the United States actively in the war between Israel and Iran? The world has been waiting for this question for days. Now Trump’s spokeswoman quotes the president with a time.
U.S. President Donald Trump wants to decide within the next two weeks whether the United States will intervene against Iran at the side of Israel. This is done against the background that there is a “considerable opportunity” for negotiations that could take place with Iran in the near future or not, Trump’s spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt cited the president at a press conference.
The president made it clear that he always striving for diplomacy. However, he also does not shy away from showing strength if necessary. Iran and the whole world should know that the US military is the strongest in the world.
For days, the focus in the war between Israel and Iran has also been aimed at the question of how the USA will behave. Israel would be dependent on the support of the US military in order to switch off the underground nuclear complex in Fordo – the most important goal of the Israeli military. Among the western states only the United States with its precision-led “bunkerbreaker” bombs have a suitable weapon to destroy the triggered area for uranium enrichment.
Until now, Israel has only supported in defense
In the past few days, Trump strikingly emphasized that his goal was not an ceasefire, but that Iran does not get a nuclear weapon. If the United States opted to actively enter the war, a new dramatic escalation level would have been achieved. So far, according to government information, the United States has not participated in the fights, but the US military supports Israel in defense.
European negotiations with Iran are planned for tomorrow. The Foreign Minister of Germany, France and Great Britain want to negotiate the Iranian nuclear program in the Swiss Geneva with their colleague from Tehran.
