In St. Petersburg, Kremlin chief Putin asserts claims on the entire Ukraine. At night, Russian drones and rockets are causing further destruction in the neighboring country.
According to the local military administration, Russia has damaged the energy infrastructure of the Central Lucrainian region of Poltawa with nightly drone and rocket attacks. “In the district of Krementschuk, direct impacts and crashes of ruins were registered on objects of the energy infrastructure and on open terrain,” wrote the Military Governor of Poltava, Wolodymyr Kohut on Telegram. There was an injured person, he said. He made no information about the extent of the damage.
According to media reports, around 50 explosions could be heard in the industrial city. The internet portal Strana.Ua published photos and videos that are supposed to show the attacks and on which smoke and fire can also be seen. Accordingly, Russia once again attacked the refinery based in Krementschuk.
Nocturnal attacks on cities in Ukraine have been part of everyday life since Russia’s President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of the neighboring country since Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. In February, Moscow and Kiev agreed on the mediation of US President Donald Trump to take out the air strikes as a first step in negotiations on a war-end energy objects. The agreement, which is temporarily limited to 30 days, has now expired – however, both sides also accomplished violations of the agreement during this time. Peace in Ukraine is still not in sight.
