Israel and Iran continue to fire each other. A production facility is hit in Iran that produces machines for uranium enrichment. Diplomatic efforts are more up to be.
According to its own representation, Israel has bombed an atomic facility in the Iranian city of Isfahan. The Israeli military said that it was a production facility for the construction of uranium centrifuges in the city of Isfahan. The head of the international atomic energy agency IAEA, Rafael Grossi, confirmed the attack, but only spoke of a “workshop” in which centrifuges were built.
Iranian state media reported that no harmful substances had left. Grossi emphasized that the facility had been monitored by IAEA inspectors. “There was no nuclear material at this location, so that the attack on this location will not have any radiological consequences”, the Argentinian continued.
Iran’s Foreign Minister warns the United States
Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts to terminate the war continued on the spot. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghtschi renewed the warning of his country that had already been expressed several times in Istanbul, and the United States’ intervention in the war would be “very dangerous”. The Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meets in the Turkish metropolis.
Previously, Araghtschi met in Geneva with his European colleagues Johann Wadephul (Germany), Jean-Noël Barrot (France) and David Lammy (Great Britain) and the EU foreign officer Kaja Kallas. Afterwards they only announced that they wanted to stay in conversation. A day later, France’s President Emmanuel Macron announced that he wanted to continue the negotiations further. This was explained by Macron on platform X after a phone call with his Iranian colleague Massud Peseschkian.
Trump: Europeans not helpful
US President Donald Trump has little importance to the efforts of Europeans. “Iran does not want to talk to Europe. They want to speak to us. Europe cannot help,” he said when asked by a journalist whether the conversations of the Europeans were helpful.
According to his own words, Trump has not yet committed whether he wants to have Iran attacked. Experts assume that only the United States would be able to destroy the important Iranian nuclear system Fordo, which is up to 90 meters deep below a rock massif. Israel hopes for this that itself neither has enough bombs nor the necessary carrier aircraft.
Further ranked military killed in Iran
Israel again targeted members of Iran’s military leadership. According to Defense Minister Israel Katz, a commander of the Al-Kuds brigades of the Iranian revolutionary guards were killed in an apartment in the city of Ghom. It was the leader of the Palestine Corps of the abroad of the elite trends of Iran, Said Isadi, said in a message from Katz. He financed and armed the Islamist Hamas on October 7, 2023 in front of the massacre in Israel. “The long arm of Israel will reach all of his enemies,” said Katz.
The apparently targeted killing of Isadis in an apartment is another indication of how much the Israeli secret services have hiked the Iranian security structures. The government -related Iranian news agency ISNA reported that in the province of Ghom, 22 people were suspected of having connections to Israeli secret services. This can result in the death penalty in Iran.
According to the military, around 50 combat aircraft from the Israeli Air Force in Iran were used at night. In addition to the killing of Isadis, they were used for attacks on military facilities and the nuclear facility in Isfahan. According to the Iranian Ministry of Health, the Israeli attacks started on June 13 have so far been killed. Most of the victims are civilians. Since the outbreak of the war around a week ago, 3,056 people in Iran have been injured. Activists had previously given higher numbers.
Moderate Iranians want to change Chameni
Meanwhile, moderate politicians in Iran State Head of State Ajatollah Ali Chamenei want to persuade Israel in view of the war to give in to the US claim after an uranium enrichment stopped. In a letter, leading representatives of the reform movement want to achieve a steering chamen ice cream in order to secure the future of the Islamic Republic and to restore peace. According to information from Tehran, the advance was initiated by ex-President Mohammed Chatami and former Foreign Minister Mohammed-Jawad Sarif.
Meanwhile, in Berlin was demonstrated for the fall of the tour in the Tehran. The police spoke of 1,300 participants in front of the Red Town Hall. The exile group of National Resistance Council Iran called for the rally. The group calls for a change of regime brought about by the Iranian population.
