Iran attack by the United States: was Trump allowed?

After days of speculation, the United States intervened in the war between Iran and Israel. President Donald Trump said on Saturday evening in a television speech to the nation that the US air strikes had completely destroyed the three most important nuclear facilities. Sharp criticism came from the Democrats. Her minority leader in the House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries, explained that Trump risked the involvement of America “into a potentially disaster war in the Middle East”. He also failed to obtain the permission of the congress for the use. The New York MP Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also called Trump’s decision “catastrophic” and a “serious violation of the constitution”.
