New Bundesliga schedule is standing-real bang on the second matchday
Everyone against everyone – and twice. So much was certain before. When in the upcoming Bundesliga season who will meet whom, the DFL has now made public.
Master Bayern Munich Against RB Leipzig will be the first game of the upcoming Bundesliga season 2025/2026 (August 22, 8.30 p.m.). The German Football League (DFL) had already announced this on Thursday, now added and distributed the other 305 pairings over the 34 game days.
The remaining eight games of the first day are:
- Bayer Leverkusen vs. TSG Hoffenheim
- Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Werder Bremen
- SC Freiburg vs. FC Augsburg
- 1. FSV Manz 05 vs. 1. FC Köln
- Borussia Mönchengladbach vs. Hamburger SV
- 1. FC Union Berlin vs. VfB Stuttgart
- FC St. Pauli vs. Borussia Dortmund
- 1. FC Heidenheim vs. VfL Wolfsburg

Bundesliga classic on the seventh matchday
The classic between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund will be held on the seventh matchday (17th to 19th October), on the ninth matchday (October 31 to November 2), the Munich players play against runner -up Leverkusen. The nine games of the 34th and last match day will kick off on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. At the latest it is clear whether FC Bayern can celebrate its 35th title.
The DFL plans to make the contemporary schedules of the first five game days known in the second week of July. These are also related to the interests of the transmission television channels. The Pay TV broadcaster Sky broadcasts all the individual games on Friday and Saturday, the streaming provider DAZN secured the transmission rights for the Saturday conference and the individual games on Sunday. Highlights also show the ARD “Sportschau”, the ZDF “sports studio” and Sport1. At Sat.1, among other things, the opening game and the relegation will be seen live and freely. RTL Germany, for which the star Heard, shows highlights of the games on the Internet.
