Breaks for DFB-Elf: Giulia Gwinn has to be replaced injured
Out of tears: Giulia Gwinn injured himself in the opening game of the DFB team against Poland on the knee and was unable to play-a heavy setback for the team.
The German national team captain Giulia Gwinn was replaced in the European Championship opening against Poland due to injury. The 26-year-old was injured in the evening in St. Gallen shortly before half-time with a collision on the knee and had to be supported when she left the lawn under tears. Gwinn had previously led the DFB team to the field.
