Ferrari best time and two accidents in Formula 1 training
Ferrari shows itself in improved form before the Formula 1 race in Silverstone. Charles Leclerc succeeds in the fastest round in the last training session, which ends with two accidents.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc in the final training of Formula 1 at the Grand Prix in Silverstone freaked out somewhat at the best time. The Monegasse referred World Cup leaders Oscar Piatri in the McLaren and defending champion Max Verstappen in Red Bull second and three.
Silverstone record winner Lewis Hamilton was also on the best time course in the second Ferrari, but had to cancel his round. Due to a small rubble on the route, red flags were swiveled. The 40 -year -old Brit has already won nine times on the traditional route in the county of Northamptonshire and, after the latest upward trend at Ferrari, has also hopes for a podium.
Accident ended training unit
The Rhinelander Nico Hülkenberg had to be satisfied with 15th place in the final exercise unit. His stable rival Gabriel Bortoleto lost control of his car shortly before the end of the training and after a violent departure with a broken front wheel suspension in the gravel bed. Haas pilot Oliver Bearman crashed into the route limitation shortly afterwards when entering the pit lane.
Before the twelfth season run on Sunday (4:00 p.m./Sky), the Australian Piatri leads the overall ranking with a 15 -point lead over its British teammate Lando Norris. According to his latest accident, world champion Verstappen already has 61 points behind Piatri as a World Cup press.
