Horror two-fighter: Musiala apparently seriously injured-defeat against PSG
What a bad scene: PSG keeper Donnarumma caught Jamal Musiala on the foot and seriously injured the Bayern professional. Musiala had to leave the place on a stretcher.
The scene took place shortly before half -time. The goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain, Gianluigi Donnarumma, grabbed a ball in front of the dividing Jamal Musiala. A foot of Musialas got under the massive body of the goalkeeper, Musiala fell and remained. Donnarumma turned away and had tears in his eyes when he realized what had happened. In a repeat of the TV pictures it could be seen that the foot of Musialas was apparently completely bent or had no stop. He probably sustained a broken leg. It will probably be out for a long time. This remote diagnosis can be dared.
DAZN does not show scene with Jamal Musiala again
The transmission broadcaster DAZN subsequently waived a repetition of the images, which occurred in the quarter-final game of the club World Cup in Atlanta at 0-0. The English referee Anthony Taylor no longer whistled the first half. There is currently no further information.
For FC Bayern, the bad news was not over. To make matters worse, the team of coach Vincent Kompany left 0-2 against the Champions League winner, although Paris in the end was only on the pitch with nine players after two red cards. In addition, a penalty per Var was revoked in a dramatic final phase. Nuno Mendes had played high leg against Thomas Müller and referee Taylor had decided deep in added time without hesitation. After video view, he took back the penalty.
Nine Parisian counter the Bavarians
Shortly before, nine Parisians had countered Bayern and scored Ousmane Dembelé to the 2-0 final score. Desiré Doué scored the first goal of the French in the 78th minute. In this case, too, the Munich defensive did not look good. Perhaps the players put the scene in the bones with musicala and therefore acted so unconcentrated.
For the German record champion, the renewed and probably very long failure from the Musiala means a serious problem. After the departures of Leroy Sané and Thomas Müller’s career end, Bayern now have a personnel worries on the offensive. Sports board member Max Eberl has not yet announced any new obligations. Apparently the search is difficult.
As a consolation, the Munichers take almost 50 million euros in premiums, which they deserve from participating in the controversial tournament.
