Trump causes irritation on club World Cup winner podium
The final of the club World Cup also makes Donald Trump his very own show. When Chelsea’s captain grabbed the winner’s cup, the US President simply stops on the podium.
U.S. President Donald Trump, with his idiosyncratic manner, also amazed and irritations at the award ceremony after the final of the Club World Championship near New York.
The 79-year-old-after he had previously presented the winning players of FC Chelsea after the 3-0 against Paris Saint-Germain at the Metlife stage-simply wanted to be on the winner’s podium when team captain Reece James wanted to start cheering with the teammates. Usually this moment belongs to the winners.

Match winner Palmer: “We were irritated”

In one year, the national team’s World Cup finals will also end in the stadium in East Rutherford not far from New York City. The final will take place on July 19, 2026. Trump’s tenure as president then runs.
