This is how fans come to tickets for the men’s football World Cup in 2026
The FIFA World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada will increase next year. If you want to be there live, you should already note the starting start.
From September 10, fans can order tickets for the World Cup next year. The world association FIFA announced that the first order window followed by ticking for tickets on this day.
In order to have a chance of tickets for the tournament in the USA, Mexico and Canada, interested parties have to create a so-called FIFA ID on the association’s website. FIFA advises to do this as soon as possible. Ticket sales include several sales phases that last from September 10, 2025 to the final on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
Football World Cup 2026: Groups will not be drawn until December
6.5 million visitors are expected at the World Cup. With 48 teams and 104 games in three countries, it is the largest edition so far. The demand for the games of top teams such as Germany or the important KO games will very likely exceed the offer. Some tickets have already been awarded. For example, the FIFA offered combination tickets for club World Cup and World Cup, certainly also to boost the sometimes sluggish sale for the Team tournament.
Who plays and when is still unclear. The World Cup groups will be drawn in early December. FIFA has not yet told when exactly and where the ceremony takes place.
