Midfielder Frenkie de Jong has stressed that he sees his future at FC Barcelona in the long term. Opposite to The Observer the Dutchman made it clear that he wanted to stay with the Catalans for several more years.
“I feel very comfortable in Barcelona. I wanted to play here when I was young, so a dream came true,” said De Jong, although there is a drop of bitterness: “Of course I would have liked to have won more titles in my first two years. There I expected more, to put it that way.”
