Thomas Müller changes to the US League-new club is still unknown

According to media reports, Thomas Müller will continue his active football career in North America. The broadcaster Sky and the “Bild” reported that the 35-year-old would soon sign at a club from the Major League Soccer (MLS). As it said, the long -time star of FC Bayern Munich only has to choose between two teams. One of them is Los Angeles FC, a partner club by the German record champion.

There was initially no official statement by the striker and world champion in 2014. Müller is currently on vacation after the club World Cup in the USA, his last tournament with Bayern. Most recently, he posted photos with ex-teammates Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mats Hummels on Instagram.

After a quarter of a century-with 13 championship titles, six victories in the DFB Cup and two triumphs in the Champions League-he had not received a new contract with his youth club. So far, the ex-international was only a professional for Bayern.

Thereupon it was long unclear whether the Munich favorite of Munich ends his career or tried it again at another club. The MLS, in which a number of stars in more mature football age have been placed for years, seems to be an attractive alternative. Müller had recently flirted as possible destinations with “distant and exotic countries”.

Former Bavaria star Bastian Schweinsteiger once ended his career in the United States. Müller’s former DFB teammate Marco Reus at La Galaxy is currently active and successful in his last career station. Superstar Lionel Messi is also on the ball for Inter Miami in the MLS.

Munich sports director Max Eberl recently said that Müller “might get to know the world” after his time at Bayern. On Säbener Straße, however, they very much hope that the club icon will return at some point and that FC Bayern will start again in another function.
