Curl Britannia: Great Britain’s women’s curling team has won Olympic gold for the second time. 20 years after the Olympic victory in Salt Lake City, Skip Eve Muirhead’s team defeated Japan 10:3 in the final in Beijing on Sunday. The Swedes had secured bronze the day before by beating Switzerland 9:7.

Icy Finns: Finland is ice hockey Olympic champion for the first time. The runners-up won the final in Beijing 2-1 (0-1, 1-0, 1-0) against Russia on Sunday. The Russian team did not manage to repeat the 2018 Olympic victory. Four years ago there was a 4:3 win over the German team in the final in Pyeongchang.
