Father Andres Dahlmeier operates a fourth generation in the Alpine town. In the shop window of the business, the family is now reminiscent of their daughter. Embedded by white roses and candles, a framed photo of Laura Dahlmeier stands on a carpenter – it shows the athlete in the mountains, both fists stretched out. It is questionable whether family and friends can say goodbye to a coffin of Laura Dahlmeier, because the body of her remains at Laila Peak in Pakistan until further notice.
