Sports deporter legend Ulli Potofski is dead
Mourning in the sports and media world: The long-time RTL soccer presenter Ulli Potofski died at the age of 73.
The sports journalist Ulli Potofski died at the age of 73. This was confirmed by his former wife Monika Potofski on Wednesday of the German Press Agency (dpa). Previously, the “Bild” newspaper and its long-time employer RTL had reported on the death of the journalist.
Ulli Potofski was the face of RTL sports
Potofski has been one of the formative faces of sports reporting at RTL for decades since the 1980s, wherever the Bundesliga broadcast “kick-off” and entertainment formats moderated. From 2006 the Gelsenkirchen native worked for Sky. He also ran his own podcast and appeared in shows like “Let’s Dance”.
