Russian mixed style fighter Artem Lobov gave his prediction for the fight between MMA fighter Magomed Ismailov and Nigerian boxer Olanrewaju Durodola.
In an interview with REN TV, Lobov noted that if the fight consisted of eight or more rounds, he would prefer Durodol. However, the upcoming meeting will be of four rounds, which, according to the athlete, makes it more competitive.
Lobov also drew attention to the fact that the Russian is shorter than his opponent and has less experience.
“But it seems to me that he has enough speed and explosion to close the distance and deliver very dangerous blows. This, of course, takes a lot of energy, but in a four-round fight, this is not such an important factor. And I think it will not play a big role here, ”he concluded.
On the eve of February 21, a similar forecast was given by the president of Fight Nights Global Kamil Hajiyev.
“If the fight was eight-round, I would risk betting on Durodol. But since these are four rounds, Magomed just needs four rounds of three minutes not to lose concentration. Then, I think, he will win on points, by decision of the judges,” he said.
