The clarification responds to versions released by different media outlets that pointed to a possible change for the final, scheduled for May 28, reported ANSA.
The London Stadium Wembley (England) is one of the optional venues indicated by the British newspaper Daily Star.
Precisely the English prime minister, Boris Johnson, criticized UEFA’s decision to keep the final in Saint Petersburg.
“It is inconceivable. There is no chance that an increasingly isolated Russia can host a sporting competition like the Champions League final,” he said.
