The men on the pipe: The Bundesliga referees do this in the main job

Referee in the Bundesliga is not only an extremely demanding, but also well-paid job. Nevertheless, the referees also work in their actual professions.

As is well known, professional soccer players earn millions and are in the spotlight of the public. But then there are the men who are also on the pitch and without whom no game was possible: referee. They do an unpleasant job, are often and often criticized and actually want to be the focus as rarely as possible – then it is said that a referee has managed the game well.

Referees often run even more than the players themselves at the highest level, they have to plan time to prepare for the game, their own training and journey – but even the impartial Bundesliga officially practice whistling only as a part -time job. If you are not on the pitch, follow your actual main job. In the photo gallery we show in which industries the Bundesliga referees are traveling-there are teachers, police officers and merchants.

It is therefore quite normal among the referees to investigate another profession, even if most of them are focused on football. Quite different with the footballers – but here too there are still
