US open: feasible opponents for Zverev
Alexander Zverev still has to deal with physical problems before the start of the US Open. After all, the draw means the tennis player well.
Alexander Zverev caught a feasible draw at the last Grand Slam tournament of the tennis season. The world ranking in third is about the start in New York with the Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, which is currently only 126 in the world rankings.
Zverev landed in half with the world rankings Jannik Sinner at the ceremony on Thursday. The Italian won the spectacle in New York last year and most recently triumphed in Wimbledon. However, Sinner and Zverev had most recently struggled with physical problems and had to give up at the Masters 1000 event in Cincinnati on Monday at 0: 5 in the first set against Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
Alcaraz could meet Novak Djokovic in the semifinals, who is trying to celebrate his 25th Grand Slam title in New York. Alcaraz is dealing with the impact of strong Americans Reilly Opelka.
So far only two German men at the start
Daniel Altmaier, except Zverev the only German in the Herren field so far, meets Hamad Medjedovic in the first round. At the French Open in Paris, Altmaier won in four sets in the third round against the Serbs. As few German men as this year were last at the US Open in 1985.
For women, Eva Lys initially plays against a qualifier. Tatjana Maria meets the Greek Maria Sakkari, Laura Siegemund on the Russian Diana Schneider.
