Early at the Vuelta there is an exciting struggle for the overall lead at the top. The two-time tour winner Vingegaard has to hand in the outfit for the time being.

The two-time Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard has lost the red jersey at the 80th Vuelta a España. The Frenchman David Gaudu, which was behind him in the overall ranking, managed to take it off on the fourth stage, which towards the end, the Danish bike star for the time being thanks to the better day position. Both remain close together with the same time.



Ben Turner won the day in the mass sprint. The 26-year-old Brit won after the crossing from the Italian Susa to Voiron French in front of the Belgian sprint star Jasper Philipsen and his compatriot Edward Planckaert. On Tuesday there were 206.7 kilometers and 2919 meters of altitude.

On Wednesday there is a team time trial with a distance of around 24 kilometers. For the first time they will start in Spain after the start in Italy. The three -week tour ends on September 14th in the capital Madrid.
