Struff is surprised with a third round in the US Open
Jan-Lennard Struff had to qualify at the US Open to make it into the main field at all. Now the 35-year-old is celebrating his greatest victory this year.
Thanks to a surprise coup in a highly competitive five-set match, tennis routinner Jan-Lennard Struff plays at the US Open to move into the round of 16. In the second round, the 35 -year -old Sauerlander came to the favorite Danes Holger Rune and triumphed after one up and down with 7: 6 (7: 5), 2: 6, 6: 3, 4: 6, 7: 5.
