Basketball coach Mumbru released from the hospital
Basketball coach Alex Mumbru no longer has to stay in the hospital in the Finnish tampere. The head of the national team remains his assistant in the next European Championship game.
Basketball coach Alex Mumbru has left the hospital in Tampere, Finnish, and is still on the way of improvement. The German Basketball Bund (DBB) informed about this at the European Championship. Mumbru was taken to the hospital last Monday and spent five nights there. On Saturday evening he was allowed to go back to the team hotel. First, the “picture” reported.
Mumbru is further looked after in the team hotel, today the DBB said. At the European Championship start against Montenegro and against Sweden and Lithuania, the 46-year-old Spaniard was represented by his assistant Alan Ibrahimagic. The latter described that Mumbru had complained about discomfort days before he was admitted to the hospital. Team doctor Oliver Pütz reported on the first day of rest, Mumbru suffered from an “acute abdomen”.
Ibrahimagic also against Great Britain boss
The preliminary round game against Great Britain on Monday (3:30 p.m./RTL and Magenta Sport) will always look after Ibrahimagic as head coach. The association was not yet able to provide any information for the game against host Finland on Wednesday (7.30 p.m.). So far, basketball players have won all three games significantly under Ibrahimagic.
