Casketball European Championship
Here you can see Germany against Slovenia live on free TV
The German team continues to have a flawless record at the SEM basketball. On the way to the title, Slovenia is waiting in the quarter -finals. So you can see the game live.
The German basketball team is getting closer to the title at the European Championship. In the round of 16, the DBB selection against Portugal was difficult at times, but in the end won 85:58. The German team had previously had a flawless group phase with victories against Sweden, Lithuania, Great Britain and Finland.
Germany only separates two games from the final. In the quarter-finals, Slovenia is waiting as an opponent with NBA superstar Luka Doncic. The game takes place in the Latvian capital Riga. Slovenia had prevailed against Italy in the round of 16.
At large tournaments, the DBB selection recently made exciting appearances. In 2023 Germany became world champion, last year the team in Paris narrowly missed the final. A medal should jump out at the European Championship – ideally even gold. After the end of top favorite Serbia, the chances of the first European Championship title have been good for 32 years.
“We came here with the aim we want to become European champions. Made us so strong that we respect every opponent“, said national player Daniel Theis. National coach Alex Mumbru, who missed the group games because of an acute abdominal disease and was back against Portugal, withdraws to the second member for health reasons. His previous assistant Alan Ibrahimagic takes over the chief role.
