The Head of Government, Jorge Macri, officially presented the urban project of 2,790 meters that will debut in March 2026, combining speed and technology in streets and Buenos Aires parks.
The Government of the City of Buenos Aires launched the project “The city is the track”which will temporarily transform streets of Villa Soldati in a street circuit while the Oscar and Juan Gálvez Autodrome It undergoes remodeling works. The initiative will allow to maintain the car activity in the city without interrupting national competitions.

The urban circuit will have a extension of 2,790 meters and will travel avenues and streets near the historic Gálvez. The first race is scheduled for March 2026with the participation of TC2000category that already had previous experience in street circuits in Buenos Aires, such as Recoleta in 2013.


The tour will include the Coronel Roca Avenue, Escalada Avenue, the City Park, Roca Park, Lake Lugano And the gates of the tennis stadium Mary Terán de Weisscombining high -speed sections with more technical sectors for pilots.

The track will have a main line of 720 meters and a sector of Boxes mounted inside the city park. For their assembly they will be installed 1,500 meters of containment walls, 12 stands with capacity for thousands of spectators, 300 chemical baths and four giant LED screens. Being an urban circuit, it will be mounted only during the competition weekends and then it will be unarmed.

The tour will include Colonel Roca Avenue, Escalada Avenue, the City Park, Roca Park, Lake Lugano and the gates of the Mary Terán Tennis Stadium in Weiss, combining high -speed sections with more technical sectors for pilots.
The announcement, formalized by the Head of Government, Jorge Macri, was accompanied by pilots as Matías Rossi and automobile leaders as César Carman IIIpresident of the ACA, and Alejandro Levyhead of Tango Motorsport.
The initiative arises in parallel to the investment of 150 million dollars aimed at modernizing the Gálvezwith the aim of homologating it to receive the MotoGP in 2027. The agreement with the motorcycle category provides four races and an additional contract for 52 million dollarswith the expectation of recovering the investment from the first international event.
