Mbappé: My children are supposed to take a distance from professional football
Kylian Mbappé earns a lot of money with football and enjoys great attention. However, he wishes his future children a different way – because football also “rejected” him.
The future children of Kylian Mbappé are said to be as large as possible from professional football according to the wish of the world-class striker. “In any case, I would never advise my child to immerse yourself in the world of football,” said the French international in an interview with the “L’équipe”. When asked whether he could imagine that his children could hate football, the still childless Mbappé laughed: “I hope. But I think the ball is never far away.”
In the very personal and detailed interview, the professional of Real Madrid also describes the dark side of professional football. “I like to say that the people who go to the stadium are lucky to” only “see a show and not to know what is happening behind the scenes,” said the 26-year-old: “To be honest, if I hadn’t this passion, the world of football would have long been disgusted.”
Mbappé: “Life is great”
The fame and the many money also brought many problems with it, explained Mbappé. He always hikes on a “narrow line between paranoia and vigilance”, but does not want to be able to take the joy of life outside of football. “I am fatalistic about the world of football, but not when it comes to life,” he said: “Life is great.”
