HSV celebrates the first victory – Leipzig kicks for the second in the table
Three goals from Harry Kane give the newly formed Bavaria three points in the Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim. The HSV cheers over the first goal and Leipzig defeats Cologne.
FC Bayern continued its triumphal march in the Bundesliga without some top stars in the starting eleven. The Munich team ultimately earned 4: 1 (1: 0) at TSG Hoffenheim and are confident at the top of the table. With twelve points and plus 15 goals, Bayern started better than every club in the 62-year history of the German elite class.
Thanks to triple goal scorer Harry Kane, the fact that coach Vincent Kompany spared some regular players three days after the 3-1 success in the Champions League against Club World Champion FC Chelsea. The victory for the start of the Oktoberfest this Saturday was particularly happy for the Bayern fans.
In the late game, RB Leipzig won the third victory in series with a 3: 1 (3: 1) against promoted 1. FC Köln and took over at least one night in two.
The Hamburger SV celebrated the 2-1 (1-0) in the home game against the further pointless bottom light 1. FC Heidenheim not only the first own goals since returning to the Bundesliga, but also the first victory. The Freiburger also demonstrated their upward swing with a 3: 0 (1: 0) away from Werder Bremen. FSV Mainz 05 also won a 4: 1 (2: 0) at FC Augsburg abroad.
Bavaria initially under pressure
The starting eleven of Bayern, which was changed in five positions compared to the 3: 1 against Chelsea, was initially difficult in Sinsheim. Without regular players like Joshua Kimmich, Michael Olise or Serge Gnabry, there was a long time lacking coordination and punch.
But Kane was once again relying: the Englishman shot the 1-0 (44th) with his sixth season goal. Offensive player Lennart Karl, who, according to data provider Opta, became the second youngest starting eleven player in Bavaria’s Bundesliga history at the age of 17 and 210 days, gave the template by corner. Kane (48./77.) After the change of sides, followed up with two penalties.
Hoffenheim was only able to shorten by Vladimir Coufal (83.) to 1: 3; Substitute Kimmich falsified the shot unsustainable for Manuel Neuer. The Gnabry (90.+9), who was also substituted, set the final point to 4: 1.
The Hamburgers were able to cheer for the first time since the promotion of defender Luka Vuskovic (42nd). After that, the HSV came under pressure, but Rayan Philippe (59th) increased to 2: 0. Heidenheim’s goal in added time by Adam Kölle (90.+3) caused excitement again.
Wagner changes four times at halftime
For Leipzig, starting eleven debutant Assan Ouedraogo (13th), Romulo (44th) and international David Raum (45.+4) met. Jan Thielmann (23rd) was successful in the Cologne team who collected the first defeat of the season.
Vincenzo Grifo (33.) brought Freiburg in Bremen in the lead with a penalty. Junior Adamu (54.) and an own goal of Karim Coulibaly (75th) caused clear conditions in the second half. Romano Schmid (59.) awarded the best chance to connect for Bremen with a fired penalty.
The Augsburgers, trained by Sandro Wagner, disappointed against Mainz in the first half, which was punished with goals conceded by Kaishu Sano (14th) and Dominik Kohr (26th). Wagner reacted and made four changes at the second half. After Kohr (53.) had seen the yellow-red card, the Augsburgers increased the pressure. The other goals initially shot Mainz through Paul Nebel (60th) and Armindo Sieb (69.). Augsburg’s hit by Samuel Dessende (83.) fell too late.
