Ousmane Dembélé wins Ballon d’Or – German players far behind
Ex-BVB professional Ousmane Dembélé is world footballer of the year. The Frenchman accepted the balloon d’Or in Paris. Harry Kane was recognized as the best Bundesliga kicker.
The former Dortmund Ousmane Dembélé won the prestigious balloon d’Or. The 28-year-old Frenchman from the Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain prevailed in the election in front of the Spanish young star Lamine Yamal from FC Barcelona.
Dembélé, who played for BVB in the 2016/2017 season, received the evening award in the evening in the Paris Théâtre du Châtelet. The Germans nominated went away empty -handed in all categories.
