The new VAR system that will use FIFA in the Chilean U-20 World Cup

International arbitration is about to live a historical change: the FIFA announced that on September 27, at the beginning of the Sub-20 World of Chilethe first time will be launched Football Support (FVS)a simplified version of Var which seeks to speed up the game and reduce implementation costs.

He FVS introduces a novelty that could change the dynamics of arbitration decisions: It will be the coaches who will be able to request the revision of playsshowing a green card as a sign.

Each team will have a maximum of two orders per game, which can be used only in key situations such as goals, criminals, direct red cards or identity confusion.

Unlike Var Traditional, this system requires less personal and a simpler infrastructure, which makes it a viable alternative for federations and league with limited resources.

The tournament will be played between September 27 and October 19 in Santiago, Valparaíso, Rancagua and Talcaand will be attended by the ARGENTINE SELECTIONwhich will share group D with Cuba, Australia and Italy.
