More than 30 thousand finalists from all over the province are participating since this Monday in the decisive stage of the largest sporting and cultural event in Buenos Aires.
This Monday the final of the 34th edition of the Buenos Aires Games 2025disputed in the city of Mar del Platawhich will take place until Saturday, October 18. Thousands of young people, older adults and people with disabilities arrived on the Atlantic coast to represent their municipalities in the most popular competition in the province. The opening ceremony, led by provincial authorities, took place in The Toscas and included musical shows, where Luck Raand the presence of outstanding athletes who participated in the Argentine High Performance Games.
This year, the event reached a record number of 480 thousand registered throughout the provincesurpassing the 2024 mark and consolidating itself as a space for inclusion, training and comprehensive development.

The final of the 2025 Buenos Aires Games
The Games are structured in three stages, local, regional and provincial, and bring together more than one hundred disciplines between sport and culture. In this edition, new activities were incorporated, such as ITF taekwondo, fishing, discus and hammer throwing, as well as 11-player hockey.
The competitions began this Monday in different sports venues and cultural centers of Mar del Platawhere thousands of finalists seek to win a medal and highlight the work of an entire year.

In parallel, throughout the week activities open to the public will be held at the Almirante Brown Squarewith talks, artistic exhibitions, recreational spaces and the participation of different provincial organizations. The Family Producers Market Fair will also be set up there, with entrepreneurs who will offer regional products.
