After 9 years with Kappa clothing, Racing will change to Nike International. The detail of being “Nike International” is not minor, since it will mean that it will have more distribution for the rest of the world and better production capacity. In this case, the contract with Nike International differs from the one that San Lorenzo had until this year, because although the pipe logo was present on the shirt, it was a local production that Nike derived.

The statement that Racing issued after the announcement according to Nike
In the statement, Racing expressed its joy and enthusiasm about the agreement: “We are happy to announce that as of 2026 Nike will become our official technical sponsor“, the club posted. The agreement was signed in the offices of Portland, USA and clarifies that “all garments will be made by the global production department, which will guarantee the highest standards of quality, innovation and performance.”

In addition, Racing shared a video on its social networks with Nike authorities at its Portland headquarters, and images of a meeting with the president of the Academy, Diego Milito.
The Avellaneda team had already been dressed by Nike during the 2006, 07 and 08 seasons. Unlike the club’s current present, at that time Racing was going through a turbulent end to private management, as it had to compete with Belgrano de Córdoba for a promotion to define who would go down to the 2nd division of men’s football.
At the same time that Racing returned to the civil management of its partners, the contract with Nike ended, which has recent history dressing San Lorenzo and Boca for more than two decades, although now the German Adidas does it.
