In the first corner, Nico Hülkenberg (Kick Sauber) was involved in an incident with Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, from the McLaren team. The Argentine, Franco Colapinto, suffered minor damage and was unable to climb positions despite the fact that 3 cars had to retire.

The Formula 1 weekend in the United States began with a chaotic first corner: Oscar Piastri (McLaren) collided with Nico Hülkenberg (Kick-Sauber) and subsequently hit his teammate, Lando Norris. Both British team drivers had to abandon the sprint race.
