Upper Austrian quartet in action today
At the Junior World Championships in Zakopane, things are getting serious for four Upper Austrians today. Sophie Kothbauer (UVB Hinzenbach), Vanessa Moharitsch, Julia Mühlbacher and Sahra Schuller (all ASVÖ SC Höhnhart) start in the individual. The team competition then takes place on Saturday and the mixed competition on Sunday. Salzburg’s Stefan Rettenegger won gold there in Nordic combined yesterday. The 20-year-old youth Olympic champion from 2020 won in front of the Finn Perttu Reponen and the German Tristan Sommerfeldt. In the junior competition, Annalena Slamik came fifth.
