Kramer with points pad to Oberhof

The 20-year-old placed fifth in the World Cup competition at Holmenkollen on Sunday evening, just behind her competitor Nika Kriznar. The Slovenian was only able to marginally reduce the gap to Kramer. Before the upcoming weekend in Oberhof with the final two competitions, Kramer still has a whopping 195 points ahead.

Sara Takanashi took the day’s victory in Nordic Mecca. For the Japanese it was the 63rd World Cup victory of her career. Kramer was 14 points short of Takanashi after two passes. The second best Austrian was Chiara Kreuzer in sixth place, Lisa Eder also made it into the top ten in tenth place. In the raw air rankings, Kriznar won ahead of Takanashi, Kramer was fourth. Austria’s parade jumper landed on the Bakken, which she didn’t really love, in the first round at 123 meters. In the decision, she increased to 126 meters, but her competitors followed suit.

In Oberhof, after the disappointment at the Olympics – she was prevented from going to Beijing due to Corona – a successful line is to be drawn under the season. “What I can do, I’ll do. In the end, the one who was better is on top.”
