Renato Sanches is likely to leave Lille in the summer. Milan and Juventus are very interested in the former Bayern player.
According to information from GOAL, Juventus and AC Milan are interested in signing midfielder Renato Sanches, who is likely to leave OSC Lille in the summer to take the next step.
Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri would like another player for the midfield center and is considered a great admirer of Sanches. The first round of negotiations between the Bianconeri and Lille is planned for the end of March.
Competition in poker for the 24-year-old comes from Serie A of all places, although Milan has long been considered a potential buyer for Sanches. In the summer he could join the Rossoneri.
Sanches had recently emphasized that he was “ready for a big club”. And Lille don’t want to put any obstacles in the Portuguese’s way, should an “offer come in from a big club.”
Those big clubs have also expressed interest, with nouveau riche Newcastle interested in a transfer.
Renato Sanches under contract with Lille until 2023
Sanches switched from Benfica to Bayern Munich for 35 million euros in the summer of 2016, but was never really able to assert himself there. But it was at Lille, where he went for €20m in 2019, that he made his breakthrough.
His contract with the Ligue 1 club runs until 2023, in the current season he has one goal and five assists in 24 competitive games.
