Nagelsmann to Sane before the Leverkusen game: “If you don’t feel like it, you can go back in”

Before the Salzburg game, Leroy Sane had to worry about his regular place. Apparently there was a reason for that, so Julian Nagelsmann became clear.

Before Bayern’s home game against Leverkusen, Munich’s coach Julian Nagelsmann and Leroy Sane are said to have crashed, like that sports picture now revealed. Accordingly, Nagelsmann brought his players together in a circle. The coach then apparently became clear that he should not have liked Sane’s performance before.

“Leroy: If you don’t feel like it, you can go back in,” Nagelsmann is said to have said to Sane in front of the assembled team.

After Nagelsmann’s announcement: Sane stayed and showed a strong performance

Nagelsmann’s announcement then had an effect. The report goes on to say that Sane did not stop training, but stayed on the training ground and showed an increase in performance. In the 1-1 draw against Leverkusen, it wasn’t enough for the starting XI, but the national player was back on the field from the start against Salzburg.

In the CL second leg, Sane prepared the 5-0 and 6-1 and scored the goal himself to make it 7-1. The 26-year-old attacker was then allowed to play the full 90 minutes again against Hoffenheim.
