Probably also thanks to the support of Heinz Hochhauser, who has a long friendship with Willi Litzlbauer from Waldzell. At the OÖN online auction, the people from Waldzell bought a set of Hummel football kits from Euroteamsport Zitzlsperger in Vilshofen. Hochhauser, who once worked for SV Ried, Austria Vienna and was a sports director at Red Bull Salzburg, paid the auction price out of his own pocket. “I would be happy if it brings luck.”
At the beginning of the spring, the Waldzellers were still without a game because their scheduled opponent Reichersberg had withdrawn from their league participation. Nevertheless, they emerged as winners from this round after the first pursuer Riegerting dropped points in the 1:1 draw against Ampflwang.
