Ramirez, in charge of the Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Massive Events, investigated and ordered the release of 17 detainees for the crimes of “attack and resistance to authority”, in the context of the tumultuous access to the stadium.
But, in addition, the prosecutor filed proceedings for two other circumstances that framed the soccer game: the supposed excess of attendance -which exceeded the permitted capacity- and the entry of fans with flares.
In both cases, the accusations fall on the directors of River for violation of the law of violence in sporting events, in this case for “omission of collections”.
The prosecutor also investigates the attacks suffered by the Boca players at the exit of the field of play, through projectiles launched by the local fans.
The prosecutor ordered a procedure in the Monumental Stadium, in charge of the Judicial Investigation Corps (CIJ) and the City Police, to “collect evidence that helps try to identify the authors of the attacks suffered by Boca players, as well as those responsible for launching the flares from the stands”.
