The signs of farewell to Harry Kane are thickening. Now the Tottenham striker apparently did not appear for Spurs training.
Harry Kane did not show up for Tottenham Hotspur training on Monday, according to consistent media reports. Apparently the striker courted by Manchester City wants to force a change.
Some time ago the rumor had arisen that Kane could go on a training strike if his request for a change was not answered by the Spurs officials. Now Kane seems to be serious.
Is Kane moving to City? Striker is probably assuming a gentlemen’s agreement
Although his contract with the Spurs is still valid until 2024, the Englishman is assuming that he will be able to switch thanks to a gentlemen’s agreement, i.e. an agreement that has not been contractually agreed.
Manchester City has been named as the first interested party for weeks. Most recently there were reports that the Skyblues had offered 187 million euros for Kane.
Apparently too little for the bosses of the Spurs, who had repeatedly insisted on keeping Kane – so far.
