Emotional farewell for former Puma Martín Aramburu in France

At Aramburu’s farewell there were some family members, many rugby friends, some Argentine players who play in France, and hundreds of residents of Biarritz, a city that the former rugby player had chosen to live with his family after retirement.

One of the most emotional moments was when a shirt from Estudiantes de La Plata was placed on Aramburu’s drawer, a club of which he was a fan, since he was born in the city of the diagonals.

Federico Martín Aramburu was fired at the Sainte Eugenie church, located in Biarritz. The ceremony was broadcast live. In all matches .mp4

The people gathered in the main square of Biarritz, whose municipality placed an Argentine flag next to a French one and that of the municipality in tribute to Aramburu, dismissed the funeral procession with applause.

The end of the day had a moment of private prayer in a room at the Olympique de Biarritz stadium, with a capacity of up to 600 people.

In turn, the San Isidro Athletic Club (CASI), where Aramburu began playing, broadcast the religious ceremony that took place in France through giant screens in the club’s Victoria Aguirre Hall.

The author of the shooting, Loik Le Priol, a far-right activist, was arrested in Hungary for the Aramburu crime, and Romain Bouvier, his accomplice at the time of the incident, was also arrested in Nantes.

Police authorities determined that Aramburu’s crime occurred as a result of a dispute that the former Puma had with his murderers, who were insulting a man of foreign nationality in a Paris bar.
