Madlener wants to show it all in Vorarlberg

“We can take something away with us if we all believe in it,” said Daniel Madlener ahead of today’s away game byVorwarts Steyr in the 2nd division at leaders Lustenau.

His club already expressed their confidence in him yesterday: the 57-year-old’s contract was extended until the summer of 2023 (plus option). Madlener has long since convinced those responsible for the forwards – today he wants to prove it to an entire federal state: in his homeland, the native of Vorarlberg never really made the leap into professional business – only in 2013 he was in for 17 games at Austria’s rival FC Lustenau the second highest division active. “Every now and then I was also in conversation with Austria, but it never came to an engagement. I want to show all of Vorarlberg how Steyr has developed,” says Madlener.

FC Juniors Upper Austria lost 4-0
