The soccer superstar was greeted with applause by the hosts’ fans at Saturday’s Premier League game at Arsenal in London. The offensive player scored in the 34th minute to make it 1:2 for his team. After scoring, Ronaldo raised his eyes and left arm towards the sky.
However, the Portuguese was unable to prevent the record English champions’ defeat at Arsenal. United lost 3-1 in London and suffered another setback in the Premier League in the fight for a Champions League spot.
