Peter Fischer, President of Eintracht Frankfurt, spoke out in no uncertain terms about the small contingent of tickets for Eintracht fans in the away game against West Ham. He was also harsh on Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
“It’s English football now – who think they invented fair play. That’s the worst crap! I’m ashamed,” said Fischer, referring to the few tickets for Frankfurt fans for the Europa League game in London.

He referred not only to West Ham, but also to other Premier League clubs: “We had very bad experiences at Chelsea. When asked about Vladimir Putin and the war in Ukraine, the club president did not hold back: “As a human being, you can’t stand this crazy mass murderer! He threatens our free world. You don’t know what else this asocial psychopath is up to the box has.”
