Ex-Bayern player Javi Martinez has commented on the current situation surrounding Robert Lewandowski. The Spaniard can understand the situation in which the FCB striker is currently.
“I just spoke to him today. He said to me, ‘You’re getting more gray hairs every day.’ The thing with Bayern is that there are no clauses. If they don’t want to sell you, you’re screwed,” Martinez told the radio station Cadena SER.

He believes Lewandowski would have a better chance of individual awards at another top international club. “I think he thinks he would have won a Ballon d’Or or two in Spain. And that’s why he wants to try it. He feels like he deserves the Ballon d’Or. It’s not the same in the to play in the Spanish league, at Barca or Madrid, than in the German league.”
