After the death of well-known agent Mino Raiola, Matthijs de Ligt made an emotional statement on Instagram.
Juventus’s Matthijs de Ligt has expressed his emotions after the death of his agent Mino Raiola. “Now it’s time for us to switch roles: you did everything for us and now we have to do everything for the people you loved the most, your family,” promised the centre-back.
For the Dutchman, Raiola was “the villain against everyone” and his best friend.
He was “not ready to write this message and I think I never will be,” wrote the 22-year-old at the beginning of his long post: “It’s too early for us players, for your family, but especially for you. You had so many dreams to fulfill, so many things to do.”
In 2019, the star agent ensured that De Ligt moved to Juventus Turin for a fee of 85 million euros.
“I thought you were crazy when you told me about your plans, but you were always right in the end,” said the former Ajax jewel: “You knew how the world worked. Nothing is impossible and you did that shown all over the world.”

He was able to talk to Raiola about anything because he was someone “who knew so much about certain things that I’m annoyed with myself for not asking you anymore.” But De Ligt is sure “that at some point I’ll be able to ask and cuddle you again, because I already miss you too much. I love you, Mino.”
. “Mino fought to the end with the same vigor he used to defend our players at the negotiating table,” he said in a statement on his official Twitter account.
