Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are considered future dominators in world football. Barca star Gerard Pique dares a comparison.
Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique thinks PSG star Kylian Mbappe is the ‘complete player’ compared to Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland. The 35-year-old said in an interview with Sky Sports.
Both players are future Ballon d’or contenders but Pique finds Mbappe more complete as he can play multiple positions in attack, the Spaniard said.
Pique: “Haaland is more of a pure striker”
“I think Haaland is more of a pure striker, very strong and scores a lot of goals. Mbappe is a more complete player – he can play as a winger or as a striker. I didn’t have the opportunity to play against Haaland, I played against Mbappe. It it’s difficult to decide,” said Pique.
It is still unclear where Mbappe and Haaland will play in the coming season. The Norwegian Haaland has one. Mbappe has had reports of his contract extension at PSG, . First option should still be Real Madrid.
