With an investment of more than 1,800 million pesos by the National State in the first two stages, more than 17,000 jobs were created in the construction sector, since the purpose of the plan is to improve the infrastructure in neighborhood and town clubs in all provinces.
“We understand the importance of neighborhood clubs in every corner of the country. That is why we approach this program with the double objective of improving their infrastructure and also generating employment”assured the minister during a ceremony with leaders of sports entities at the Central Agronomy Social and Sports Club, in the City of Buenos Aires.
“We have the will to establish Clubs in Work as a State policy because we believe that it should be one of our points of agreement. I have no doubt that the axis and heart of the sports policy are the neighborhood clubs”added Lammens, accompanied by the Undersecretary of Sports Infrastructure and National Competitions, Sergio Palmas; and the director of Argentine Clubs, Francisco Chibán.
Diego Dottorehead of Central Agronomy, explained that “we had the club closed due to the pandemic and with the help of this program we were able to get up and catch up. I thank you for being present.”
Along the same lines, the president of the El Saber Club, Susana Bordaremarked: “I have no memory of another policy that allows us to carry out reforms and project internal growth in each club. Clubs en Obra takes into account our social function: if we grow, we can receive more boys and girls”.
In this third edition, sports entities will be able to carry out improvements in outdoor spaces, changing rooms, services, kitchens and multipurpose rooms, among other works.
For this, they must present the project at argentina.gob.ar/turismoydeportes/clubes-en-obra, where projects that promote accessibility, gender equality in sports and environmental sustainability will be considered.
