Milan thanks to Giroud early on Scudetto course
The visitors were comfortably ahead in Sassuolo after the first half thanks to a brace from Olivier Giroud and a goal from Franck Kessie. The clear lead also lasted during the second round.
This ends a long dry spell for the Rossoneri. The last championship in 2011 was also the last major title in the club’s glorious history.
