Overnight, Bruno’s life took a 180 degree turn. A foreign situation caused an emotional and physical collapse in him that did not end in a miraculous death.

With five minutes remaining in the game that his team played as a visitor against San Lorenzo de Villa Castells, he was pushed by a rival while waiting to execute a stopped ball, and already on the ground, defenseless and without moving, the aggressor dealt him a brutal kick in the head that caused convulsions and injuries.

Daniela, Bruno’s mother, contacted Ambit and recalled the fateful and sad episode that his son experienced.

“It didn’t miraculously break his neck, it could have killed him. She convulsed, friends asked for help and shouted that Bruno was leaving, imagine the despair. From then on it was torture, he choked on his own blood; they managed to take him to the Gonnet hospital where he was hospitalized. My son’s face was disfigured, if his kick had been 10 centimeters higher, Bruno would not be with us. I insist, he was miraculously saved. This boy had no need to do what he did, hit him like he did. My son’s entire face was infected, he has a ruptured and deviated septum. The tip of his nose is sunken. It’s a real nightmare,” the woman said.

Who added: “He did not lose his sight, they told us that he has a 70 percent recovery. The teeth are very sensitive, at risk of falling out; his mouth is hurt inside and he is going from doctor to doctor. Bruno doesn’t fall yet, he is in shock. He is like a baby that has to be taken care of”.

“It was a criminal kick, he was defenseless, he fell to the floor, and as he came he gave him a deadly kick. God kept him alive. He has facial trauma. It’s all crazy what’s going on. The referee decided to continue the game with my son like this. The players did not want to follow him, but the referees did”, he remarked.

And he recalled that “next Thursday we are going to go to the prosecutor’s office to denounce the aggressor and all those who were accomplices; In the meantime, I continue to take care of my son. In the blink of an eye they deprived him of a lot of things. In a month he has to go to Bariloche with his classmates and he still doesn’t know if he’s going to be able to go”.
