Rene Adler wants to bring more transparency to the transfer market with his new platform. The ex-keeper compares his product to a dating app.
The former German national goalkeeper Rene Adler has founded a platform to make it easier for football professionals to find a suitable club.
“I call it boldly the Tinder for football players and clubs, because we also bring two parties together through matching,” said Adler, who ended his active career at Mainz 05 in 2019 picture about his new product called 11TransFair.
Adler developed the app together with players, consultants, managers, lawyers and transfer experts. “It is obvious that players want to take care of their own concerns more and more, and no longer want to be completely dependent on the work of their advisors,” explained the 36-year-old, adding: “But not every professional can be like the absolute top stars Joshua Kimmich or Kevin De Bruyne, who are now negotiating themselves, choosing from offers as he wants. ”
Rene Adler on his transfer platform: “So that a player can not only choose between Lübeck and Meppen”
Interested professionals create a personal profile in the app and then receive offers from clubs that might suit them based on the data. Participating clubs (from regional leagues to national leagues as well as international clubs) draw up a profile of requirements for potential newcomers.
“We want to bring transparency into a non-transparent market. So that a player can choose not only between Lübeck and Meppen, but perhaps a Hungarian and an Australian club. They should find their best career options,” stressed Adler. The twelve-time national player was active in his professional career for Bayer Leverkusen, Hamburger SV and Mainz. He played a total of 269 Bundesliga games.
